Climate Infrastructure Forum
High-level roundtable | 4-5 March 2019 | Barcelona
Shaping the future of infrastructure
Challenging investment environments in developing countries have resulted in a multi-trillion annual shortfall that is needed to finance sustainable infrastructure.
The boundaries of what is sustainable infrastructure are unclear. This can jeopardize investment decisions, potentially resulting in missed opportunities and stranded assets.
The Climate Infrastructure Forum will bring together a curated group of policy, business, finance, and civil society leaders to build actionable solutions around the sustainable infrastructure imperative – with the aim of accelerating investment and making it consistent with the Paris Agreement, the Sustainable Development Goals, and the Addis Ababa Action Agenda.
A curated pool of policy, business, finance, and civil society leaders.
De-risking strategies to unlock infrastructure investments.
Electricity, transport, water, buildings, and digital infrastructure.
Developing standardized metric tools.
Identifying and sharing actionable solutions and tools.
Creating a transformative community of practice.
